Macmillan’s New Eversley Series follows its Eversley Series published in the early part of the 1900s. The New Eversley Series overlapped dates with its Caravan Library which was in print between 1922-1942 (but most titles were 1928 and 1929, suggesting the series was largely phased out after 1929). Indeed, the first title is shown below (The Pleasures of Life, “The Caravan Library 1928, Reprinted 1930”) while bound and jacketed as New Eversley Library indicates a Caravan Library printing on the copyright page (see below). Jackets are plain with a series logo. The price is on the front jacket flap.

The series has cloth bindings with gold stamping and the series logo pressed into the front of the cover.

A 1939 reprint of the first New Eversley Series printing in 1933 of Pater’s Marius the Epicurean is identical to the earlier jacket, except it’s not price clipped (3s./6p.)
