Scholars of Sturges: Keegan Lammers (Hayes Class of 2018)

Keegan Lammers is a senior at Rutherford B. Hayes High School in Delaware, Ohio. She attends OWU through a duel-enrollment program so she can get ahead in college credits. She’s taken classes in History, Music Theory, and (of course) English.

Keegan says, ” …as a high school student in the world of university students, I’ve been able to see parts of what truly is an authentic Ohio Wesleyan University experience. For example, I’m taking similar classes as some of my friends who go to Columbus State, and I can see how much more difficult my classes here are. But, even though they’re harder, I have been able to learn so much more about the subject and about myself. The professors here push you to do better and to be your best, and that’s something I really appreciate and enjoy.”

Read a reflection Keegan wrote for The Sturges Script about her life as a double-student here.
