Parent Responsibilities
- After confirming your child is on the roster for one of our honor bands, encourage them to practice their parts in advance! The announcement of acceptance or waitlist rosters will be posted on the OWU Honor Band Festival website home page by Monday, December 7, 2026.

- Make arrangements to pack a lunch on Saturday, or pick up your student to provide lunch and bring them to their concert.

Festival Participation Fee
The $100 festival fee per student is due online by Monday, January 11, 2027. A $5 discount ($95 per student) is available for all payments mailed by check and received by this date.
Failure to pay by the due date will forfeit a student’s spot in the music festival.

- Two dining hall buffet meals (lunch and dinner) for students on Friday, February 13, 2026
- Commemorative Festival T-Shirt
- Rehearsals with expert ensemble conductors and clinicians
Online Payment
Payments for one student or multiple students can be paid via online portal HERE.
When paying online, please write in the name of the student your payment is for and indicate which ensemble they’re participating in.
Payment by Check
A $5 discount ($95 per student) is available for all payments mailed by check received by the due date. Make check out to “OWU Honor Band Festival” addressed to:
