We are accepting submissions for the January edition of News for OWU Families. Please submit news for parents and families using this News for OWU Families form by the deadline, noon Friday, Jan. 5. For this month only, we will send the digest on the second Wednesday of the month, which is Jan. 10. Consider submitting information that will help families have a smooth start to the semester!
Tips: 1) eliminate OWU jargon, abbreviations, or acronyms from your emails; 2) use ‘family’ or ‘parents and families’; 3) consider your voice and tone – direct your message to families (not students). Emails will typically be sent on the first Wednesday of every month. Submissions will be due the Friday before each email release. The goal of this digest is to keep parents and families informed, engaged, and supplied regularly with resources.
Please plan to review with your team every month what information is of value to parents and families from your area. We encourage you to make monthly calendar reminders to create submissions and spread the word about this new communication tool to engage our OWU families.
