News for OWU Families Submissions

News for OWU Families is a digest of communications sent to parents and families of current Ohio Wesleyan students. It also is available at owu.edu/newsforfamilies.

These monthly messages will be sent to parents and families the first week of every month through University Advancement’s Campaign Monitor email platform. Please submit posts the Friday before each monthly issue. Issue dates and deadlines are as follows:

January 10, 2024 – Jan. 5 deadline
February 7, 2024 – Feb. 2 deadline
March 6, 2024 – Mar. 1 deadline
April 3, 2024 – Mar. 29 deadline
May 1, 2024 – Apr. 26 deadline
June 5, 2024 – May 31 deadline
July  – Hiatus
August 7, 2024 – Aug. 2 deadline
September 4, 2024 – Aug. 30 deadline
October 2, 2024 – Sept. 27 deadline
November 6, 2024 – Nov. 1 deadline
December 4, 2024 – Nov. 27 deadline

All posts should be appropriate for all families of current students. Submitted posts will be categorized into one of three areas you’ll select at the bottom of the form:

Campus Life & Academics: Student success stories, faculty news and updates, campus news, opportunities for student engagement, deadlines, and reminders, as well as any news vital to student life and academics.
Parent & Family Engagement: Campus events for parents and families, off-campus events, virtual interactions, plus ways to give and volunteer.
OWU Resources: Quick help, web links, campus improvements/upgrades, and general updates to student and family resources.

Note: Every email will contain static links to: owu.edu, battlingbishops.com, OWU directory, academic calendar, events calendar, Parents & Family Association, Connect2 OWU archive, OWU Magazine, and OWU Bookstore.
