We are accepting submissions for the June edition of News for OWU Families. Please submit news for parents and families using this News for OWU Families form by the deadline, noon Friday, May 29.
New for Families will be on hiatus during July. Submissions for the August edition are being accepted now and through noon, Friday, Aug. 7, at noon (for the Aug. 12 issue).
For the June edition, please consider submitting:
- Links to recordings of spring end-of-year events,
- Links to web pages with end-of-semester awards information,
- Annual business items for attention to start the fall semester successfully, including need to know/good to know save the dates.
Please consider how this important communication tool can assist your department and provide families with information for student success throughout the academic year. The average open rate of News for OWU Families for spring ’26 is 60%! Families are reading it!
Emails will typically be sent on the first Wednesday of every month. Submissions will be due the Friday before each email release. The goal of this digest is to keep parents and families informed, engaged, and regularly supplied with resources. Please plan to review with your team every month what information is of value to parents and families in your area. We encourage you to make monthly calendar reminders to create submissions and spread the word about this new communication tool to engage our OWU families.
