April 28 – Support OWU Students! African American History – Museum Exhibit

FREE transportation

Come support the OWU students from the BWS/HIST “African-Americans and U.S. Law” class.
They have collaborated with the local Delaware Historical Society to present an exhibit on E. W. B. Curry, The Curry Institute, and African-Americans’ Rights in Ohio: From the modest beginnings of the “Shed” School, “A Place of Learning for Young and for Old” . . . To the culmination of a life’s work, The Curry Institute, a “Tuskegee for the North.”

Meeker Farmstead Museum ( 2690 Stratford Road – Delaware) Located 2 miles south of campus!
Shuttle service available – Departs at 2 p.m. from the Chappelear Parking Lot ‘loop’ in the front.
