We are accepting submissions for the September edition of News for OWU Families. Please submit news for parents and families using the News for OWU Families form by noon Friday, Sept. 4.
What should families have on their radar this month? Send us your key academic dates, essential operational reminders, or upcoming student engagement/belonging events.
Your submissions ensure families have the information they need to empower their students for a strong start to the year. Suggestions for your submissions: 1) eliminate OWU jargon, abbreviations, or acronyms from your emails; 2) use ‘family’ or ‘parents and families’; 3) consider your voice and tone – direct your message to families (not students).
The digest is typically sent the first Wednesday of every month, with submissions due the Friday before release. Please review key updates with your team monthly and set a recurring calendar reminder to submit content.
