Internal Grants
- Teaching, Learning, and Innovation (TLI) Grants
TLI Grants are used for scholarship and pedagogical development - TLI Grant Recipients
TLI grant recipients from prior years along with their projects. Eventually, more years will be added to this document, but for now, it contains the last 2 years (4 cycles) - Theory-to-Practice Grants
While these grants are primarily for students, faculty who are planning a project that involves students in experiential learning may also apply. Visit the website for more information, including examples of formerly funded projects. Send questions to tpgrants@owu.edu.
Summer Scholarship and Research Program (SSRP)
This program allows faculty to work with and mentor students over the summer (usually for 10 weeks) on research or other scholarly projects. Visit the program website for more information, including a list of formerly funded projects.
Contact the SSRP Director, David Markwardt, with any questions.
Special Scholarly Leave
Tenured faculty may apply for Special Scholarly Leave to pursue grant-funded research or a major creative project that requires a significant time investment. Applications are reviewed by the Faculty Personnel Committee and the Provost. This is a competitive award and the call for applications is sent out via email twice per year.
