The WOW Speaker Series is part of the larger Women of Ohio Wesleyan (WOW) program and aims to keep alive relevant topics shared and discussed during previous WOW gatherings, introduce new topics and speakers of interest, and encourage personal connection and dialogue between women of Ohio Wesleyan.
Learn more about Wendie Malick ’72 – Malick is perhaps best known for her “Just Shoot Me” character, Nina Van Horn (1 Golden Globe and 2 Emmy noms). Other television series: “Hot in Cleveland” (PeoplesChoice Award and SAG nom for Best Ensemble), “Dream On” (4 Cable Ace Awards), “Frasier”, “Big Day”, “Good Company”, “Rush Hour”. Malick had recurring roles on: ‘The Ranch, “American Housewife”, “This Is Us”, “Pitch” and “NYPD Blue” and “Darrow and Darrow”. Guest appearances include: “Mom”, “Grace and Frankie”, “CSI”, “NCIS: New Orleans”, “LA Law”, “The X-Files” and “Seinfeld”. Her animated credits include: “Jimmy Neutron”, “SpongeBob Squarepants”, and “Bojack Horseman” (Annie nom).
Malick is on the Board of The Environmental Media Association, and is a spokesperson for The Humane Society of the United States and Return to Freedom: a wild horse sanctuary and advocacy group.
