Working from home is new to many of us. The following tips will help you be successful and may even take some stress out of working from home!
1.) Set your alarm, get dressed and ready for each day! You’ll feel much more productive when you keep a consistent schedule. Clearly communicate your office hours to those you work with.
2.) Create a permanent work space. Don’t float to a new location each day and try not to set up office on your couch! Limit areas that will cause distractions (including pets with toys!)
3.) Update your to-do list each morning. This will help you focus on tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines. There are lots of great planners and apps available to assist you.
4.) Eat healthy. Don’t be tempted to keep low-nutritional value snacks within easy reach!
5.) Recognize the benefits of short breaks. Take a walk outside, turn on a yoga video, or practice meditation. These short breaks are essential to your health and well-being.
