Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2020 / 7 PM EDT — Ask a Bishop: What do Lynching and Anti-LGBT Violence Have in Common?
In a collaboration with the Office of Multicultural Affairs, the Alumni Relations Office would like to invite alumni, parents, students, and friends to a presentation on the similarities of Lynching and Anti-LGBT Violence with Dr. Koritha Michell ’96.
About our Bishop: Koritha Mitchell ’96 is author of the award-winning book “Living with Lynching,” editor of the Broadview Edition of Frances E.W. Harper’s 1892 novel “Iola Leroy,” and author of “From Slave Cabins to the White House: Homemade Citizenship in African American Culture.” She is an associate professor of English at The Ohio State University and a Society of Senior Ford Fellows (SSFF) board member.
