Sagan Academic Resource Center (ARC) seeks energetic and enthusiastic students interested in tutoring WGS 110 for the remainder of the Fall semester. Students must be in at least their second year at OWU and must provide a recommendation letter from at least one professor in their tutoring subject. Must demonstrate subject matter expertise in the subjects and/or courses in which you would like to tutor. Required training will be provided by the Sagan ARC center coordinators.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Provide supplemental instruction for students to better their understanding of their course work.
- Check scheduler weekly for student appointments.
- Reach out to students on a weekly basis to check-in, set up appointments, and meet.
- Record appointment information weekly on a shared google log sheet.
- Complete other related academic support duties as assigned.
