WCSA will be holding a special election to fill five vacant Senate seats and elect a Class of 2024 representative. Additionally, there will be a ballot question in regards to holding a special general election in November due to the WCSA general election not being held in April 2020 due to COVID.
We are asking individuals interested in running for an open Senate seat or for the Class of 2024 rep. position to submit an intent-to-run form by Friday, Aug. 28, at 11:59 pm. Once approved, candidates will be able to begin campaigning Monday, Aug. 31. The student body election will be held Sept. 10.

1) Allow the current WCSA Senate and administration to serve out this academic year and then hold the general election for WCSA administrative positions and Senate seats for the 2021-2022 academic year as planned in April 2021.
2) Hold a special general WCSA election this fall in November to elect a new WCSA senate and administration for the SP 2021 semester only, and then hold another general election for WCSA administration positions and senate seats for the 2021 – 2022 academic year as planned in April 2021.
