We’re excited to offer a new course experience in Blackboard, available by request for any Spring ’19 course. It’s Learn Ultra, a new course view that offers a streamlined, more intuitive interface and workflows.
We’ve successfully tested it with a fall pilot of 11 faculty, 20 courses and over 200 students. One of the cohort, Shala Hankison, said, “I would generally recommend Ultra, I like the format and much of it is very easy (or at least easier). I have had no complaints from students.”

To opt in and try the new Ultra course view for your spring course(s), just send a request to helpdesk@owu.edu letting us know the following:
1) Which course(s) you’d like to convert, and
2) Whether you plan to copy structure & content from a previous course in Blackboard or whether you plan to build it from scratch.
Whether you choose to opt in or not, please let us know if you have any questions about this new version.
