The Ohio Wesleyan University Chamber Orchestra presents “The Lark and the Firebird” tonight, Nov. 12, at 8 p.m. in Gray Chapel. This program will feature the music of late 19th-century and early 20th-century English and Russian composers. The program also celebrates the 100th anniversary of the 1919 version of Igor Stravinsky’s majestic “Firebird Suite.” Violinist Alicia Hui will feature as soloist with the chamber orchestra on Ralph Vaughn Williams’ beautiful “The Lark Ascending.”
