Softball’s “StrikeOut” Cancer game is coming up this Sat., April 13! The doubleheader will take place at Sagan Field at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. against Allegheny College. You will not want to miss this event! There will be Dan’s Deli, Jet’s Pizza, a 50/50 raffle and the chance to win a myriad of donations from local businesses! And all of the money raised will be going directly to our assistant coach, Shelley, to help pay for her medical bills!
Last October one of our own, Shelley, was diagnosed with stage 3c ovarian cancer. Each spring we host a StrikeOut Cancer game in which the money raised goes to help find a cure for cancer. This spring, we will be donating all of the money raised directly to Shelley. She will also be throwing out the first pitch at 1:00! Come out and help us honor her fight!
