While we will be planning a larger memorial service for Dr. Kay, the Chaplain’s Office, in partnership with the Politics and Government department, would like to offer a chance for the campus community to honor Dr. Kay’s memory in a more immediate way. From 11:30 to 2:00 today, there will be yarn available outside of Elliott Hall that can be tied into the trees on the northeast corner of the building in memory of Dr. Kay. The yarn represents the ways that the threads of Dr. Kay’s life have woven with many others to help form the fabric of this OWU community.
Folks are reminded that the total number of people present will need to be less than 10 at any given time and that people will need to be masked and remain 6 feet apart.
Sincerely,
Dr. Chad Johns
University Chaplain
