Join the Women in Science Club today, Friday, October 28 from 12 – 1 pm to hear Dr. Lewin talk about otherworldly bacteria! We will be meeting in SCSC 161. From plague doctors to bacteria species producing methane gas in reeds and creating bursts of light in marshes (fairy lights, or ghosts) she will be discussing supernatural and spooky aspects of microbiology. We hope to bring some more interest to microbiology with this ghastly theme! Everyone is welcome 🙂
