In her work as a clinical dietitian in childhood weight management, Dr. Catherine Rogers came to the conclusion that working with the entire family is essential to see positive changes. She returned to The Ohio State University to obtain her PhD and began working on Simple Suppers, an intervention to help families establish healthy eating behaviors without having to spend a lot of money. This program also encourages children to be involved in food and meal preparation with their families.
Join the Department of Health and Human Kinetics as Dr. Rogers shares a lecture with us about the challenges in creating community interventions and identifying the important steps needed to create a program that is well designed and replicable for different community groups to implement and achieve the same type of success.
