Please join the English Department on Wednesday, April 16, at 4:15 p.m. in Corns 312 to hear Professor Zack Long speak as our distinguished 2024-2025 Benjamin T. Spencer Lecturer.
A member of the OWU faculty since 2007, Long specializes in the literature and culture of the English Renaissance, especially Shakespeare. His research interests include memory studies, trauma theory, and early modern ideas about the mind-body. The title of his presentation is “The Fruit of Yon Celestial Tree: Trauma, Mythology, and Typology in Shakespeare’s Pericles.”
The event is free and open to the public.
