TODAY @ 4:15 – Ilya Kaminsky Reading – Benes Room C

The Department of English at Ohio Wesleyan University and The Carpenter Lecture Series, In Conjunction with The Ross Art Museum, presents Ilya Kaminsky, author of the award-winning poetry collection the Deaf Republic, named a New York Times Notable Book for 2019 and a finalist for the National Book Award, the National Book Critics Circle Book Award, and the PEN/Jean Stein Award, among others. Kaminsky himself was named “one of 12 artists that changed the world” by the BBC. He is also the author of Dancing In Odessa and a co-editor and co-translator of many other books, including Ecco Anthology of International Poetry and Dark Elderberry Branch: Poems of Marina Tsvetaeva.

Join Kaminsky for a reading followed by a Q&A and book signing with artist James Stewart at the Ross Art Museum. Books will be available for sale and signing. This event is free and open to the public.
