Kappa Alpha Theta will be hosting our philanthropy event, Theta Bee, on Oct. 10. Theta Bee is a spelling bee competition that we started hosting last year. This year it will be completely on zoom to keep us all safe.
To participate all that you have to do is form a team of between 3-5 people who want to represent your club or friend group. Those people can zoom in together, while wearing masks, or they can zoom in separate. Other members of your club are encouraged to zoom in as well to cheer on your team. We just ask that no more than 10 people be zooming in together from the same room to maintain social distancing. The winning team will receive a very fun surprise gift and bragging rights.
You are not required to donate money to participate in this event, but if your club or individuals in your club would like to donate you can do so at this link: https://my.crowdchange.co/wm307n. All of the money donated goes to Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) who support children going through the foster care system.
