We are grateful for the full OWU community which came together on February 14 and 15 for our fourth annual We Are OWU day of giving. We laughed. We cried. We made hilarious videos. But the strength of the OWU community came together in amazing ways to support current and future Bishops! Many thanks to students who shared their personal passions with the chain of philanthropy display and to all those who chose to support areas most important to them during the campaign. Thank you for bringing the excitement to the kickoff! We passed out a record amount of OWU swag and were able to share the impact of philanthropy in creative ways.
The results are in! Together, 1,035 alumni, families, students, faculty, staff, and friends raised $469,526.47 for OWU in just 1,842 minutes! These funds will immediately be put to work to help ensure college remains affordable and accessible for every OWU student, sustain essential campus programs year after year, and provide OWU Connection opportunities to link academic learning to real-world experiences. Thank you!
