Tech Tip of the Week – Use Shift+Enter Keyboard Shortcut

Want to make your writing easy and convenient? When typing, especially long essays, sometimes you want to drop down a line without creating a new paragraph. In that case, Shift+Enter is your friend. In some instances, you may need just a new line, instead of a full new paragraph or another bullet or the next number in a list. Shift+Enter allows you to go to the next line without any of that. By using this keyboard shortcut, you keep your fingers on the keyboard, and you won’t have to grab the mouse or swipe the trackpad. This shortcut can be used in Google Docs, Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and most web-based editors.
