It is another busy weekend for OWU athletics. Volleyball kicks off the weekend on Friday with two matches in the Bishop Invitational held at Branch Rickey. The first match is at 5 p.m. vs Trine and the second is at 7 p.m. vs Hanover.
On Saturday, Men and Women’s Cross Country are set to run at Liberty Park in the OWU Invitational on Saturday. Women run at 10:30 a.m. and the men are to follow at 11:15 a.m. Volleyball continues their tournament with a match at 11 a.m. vs Otterbein and then again at 3 p.m. vs Franklin. Football then takes the field at Selby Stadium at 1 p.m. vs Wooster in their first home game of the season. Men’s soccer will end the busy day with a game at Selby Stadium at 7 p.m. against John Carroll.
Women’s Field Hockey will take the field against DePauw on Sunday at 12 p.m. in the last game of the weekend.
All of these events are free for students with an OWU ID. Be sure to come out and support the many different teams that compete this weekend.
