As we open campus for fall, I would like to information regarding our Student Health Center services.
The Student Health Center’s standard hours of operation for fall semester will be Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please note: To support everyone’s safety and well-being, the Health Center will run by appointment only and the front door will be locked. Students will need to call 740-368-3160 to schedule an appointment and again to gain entry to the center when they arrive.
Before students are seen, they will undergo a COVID-19 triage over the phone.
For students needing medical care when the Student Health Center is not open, a list of healthcare providers near campus is available on the Health Center website. Students also are able to call the OWU Public Safety Department (740-368-2222) at any time for assistance.
We are working to expand the availability of virtual visits through the Student Health Center, and virtual visits for behavioral health will continue to be available on Wednesdays. In addition to our Counseling Services support, all OWU students can speak with a mental health provider at any time, day or night, by calling 866-564-1636.
