Join the OWU community to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001, and learn about the Ohio Wesleyan alumni, families, and friends personally impacted by the attacks.
We invite you to join us next Friday, Sept. 11, in the Milligan Room of Slocum Hall:
- 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Visit the reflection room to view historical documents and learn about OWU’s connection to the attacks.
- 12:15 p.m.: Attend a brief program featuring OWU Chaplain Chad Johns ’02.
If your schedule allows, join the nation in observing a moment of silence at 8:46 a.m, to mark the time the first plane crashed into the North Tower. (Moments of silence will also be observed at 9:03 a.m., 9:37 a.m., 9:59 a.m., 10:03 a.m., and 10:28. a.m. – learn more here).
Finally, if time permits, consider visiting the OWU Friends Memorial Garden, located between Elliott and Slocum Halls.
