On Sept. 20, Border Studies (Roger Adkins), Carleton College (Rob Quanbeck), and Japan Study (Natanya Cooper) will visit our campus to discuss study-abroad options.

The Border Studies Program is a semester-long program based in Tucson, Arizona, that consists of homestays, internships in grassroots and/or non-profit organizations, and excursions as well as a rigorous academic curriculum.

Carleton College offers Buddhist studies in India, women and gender studies in Europe, and ecology and anthropology in Tanzania.

Established in 1963, Japan Study is one of the oldest and most comprehensive programs in higher education exchange between the United States and Japan. Based at Earlham College, Japan Study links member colleges of the Great Lakes Colleges Association (GLCA) and the Associated Colleges of the Midwest (ACM) with Waseda University in Tokyo.

Roger, Rob, and Natanya will be in the Hamilton-Williams Campus Center Atrium from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., or in IOCP – Slocum Hall 311 after 2:30 p.m.
