Sept. 2 @ 12pm – Join a Writing Group!

Are you interested in joining a Writing Group? Writing groups are designed to support faculty and staff in making progress on their scholarly projects. We initiated this program last semester, and evaluations were very positive. For example, one faculty member concluded that “Just having it and knowing we’d all committed to show up helped, and I really liked hearing what everyone else was doing. Everyone was really kind and supportive, too. It was great.”

Writing Group Organizing Session

– Whether you are interested and want to learn more, or if you are ready to join a group now, please join us!

The exact goals, days, length, frequency, and online/in-person will be determined by participating faculty in their specific groups. My role is to simply help get folks matched up to groups that fit their goals/schedule and the groups decide what works best for them.

What if I am interested but cannot come on Thursday, Sept 2?

If you are interested but cannot attend that time, you can either send me your preferences (accountability or writing group, available days/times, length(s) of time of interest, frequency) and I will share them with the group, or I can contact you after times are set and you can join a group that fits your goals and schedule. Or if you want to hop in/out of the organizing meeting, etc, please do what is best for you.
