The Wall That Heals is coming to Delaware County (Havener Park in Liberty Township) from Sept. 12-15, 2024. It is the only Ohio stop of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial replica and mobile education center. To help out and honor those who have given so much, please consider volunteering by signing up at https://bit.ly/4dMqZbQ. You will be asked to attend a short volunteer training at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, at the site.
The Wall That Heals will be staffed with volunteers around the clock. Volunteers will be issued a T-shirt to identify you while assisting at the wall or manning the Command Post where Volunteer Hospitality and the First Aid Station are housed. Opportunities include:
- Assisting with Set Up of The Memorial
- Assisting with Tear Down of The Memorial
- The Command Post, our Volunteer Refreshment Station
- The Wall (at the Visitors Tent or assisting visitors)
