The Ohio Bankers League (OBL), https://www.ofic.org/smr/obl, has scholarship available to qualified students. The deadline to apply is May 15. $3,000 awards. Scholarships will be awarded to students from across the state of Ohio who express an interest in a career in the banking industry and are studying a major relevant to banking. OBL facilitated professional development in 2018-2019 by offering mentorships to scholarship recipients with executives at local banks.
Qualifications are a 3.0 GPA, significant financial need (Low EFC, Pell eligible), Ohio resident and US citizen and a major in accounting, finance, marketing, economics, business administration, human resources or information technology.
