Mental wellness is an important issue in society, even before the current COVID-19 pandemic. The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) reports that one in five US adults have experienced some form of mental illness. With the disruptions brought to our daily lives by the pandemic, millions of Americans are struggling with loss, grief and anxieties. It is important to build mental toughness and resiliency to help combat these issues before they take control of our daily lives.
Join OWU Alum and Olympic athlete mental performance consultant, Dr. Nicole Detling ’97, for an evening where she will provide actionable tips to help equip your mind to navigate these current challenges.
