Save the date for OWU’s annual Summit on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion! The summit seeks to bring together students, faculty, staff, and administrators. It will take place on Monday, Oct. 7 from 4:10-6:00 p.m. in the Benes rooms.
This year’s DEI Summit will be: Finding and Nurturing Inclusion Allies.
The Summit will begin with a panel for students to share their thoughts, concerns, and goals for our campus, with an opportunity for Q&A. It will then transition to a shared meal, generously supported by the Office of the President, during which we will hear from the Chief Diversity Officer from the College of Wooster, Dr. Ivonne M. García. Following her presentation, we will conclude with breakout sessions that will allow attendees to come together and brainstorm ways to apply the lessons/information from the Summit to the broader OWU community.
REGISTER HERE to participate at the OWU Summit on Diversity Equity and Inclusion by responding to this form at your earliest convenience: https://forms.gle/SbtVVotrvrmM4ngR9.
