By clicking on the above link, you will find information in regard to the upcoming WCSA (student government) election. The elected students will serve in their roles on WCSA for the 22/23 academic year, beginning in August 2022 and ending in May 2023, and will represent, advocate for, and provide services to the student body. You can find position descriptions, as well as information on how to run for the following positions on the above website:
-President (President and Vice President run as one ticket, so you have to have a running mate)
-Vice President
-Secretary
-Treasurer
-Senators
To run, a student must submit an “intent-to-run” form for the respective position. Links to the intent-to-run forms are now available on the above website. All intent-to-run forms must be submitted by 11:59pm on March 20th. Please review the timeline of important dates carefully. You will see that campaigning for office cannot begin until Monday, March 21st, once your intent-to-run form has been approved by the WCSA election commission, and you have attended the mandatory candidates meeting on that date.
