This weekend, the OWU Women’s Rugby Team competed at home in the Ohio Valley Women’s Collegiate Rugby Conference championship tournament. After an incredible season, they went into the tournament as the top-ranking team. To defend that title, they played both Dennison University and Baldwin Wallace University, ultimately defeating both and winning the championship title for the second year in a row! This secured their spot at the Collegiate Rugby Championship National 7s Tournament, and they will be traveling in two weeks to play in Washington, D.C.! Information about the national championship tournament will be posted to the Club’s Facebook and Instagram @owu_rugby_club page as it becomes available.
