Residential Life is temporarily hiring student workers to assist in Move Out procedures. The compensation for this role is $11 an hour. The maximum amount of hours a student can work per job on campus is 20 hours. If you already have another job on campus, then you may only work for 5 hours in this role.
Move Out begins on May 7 and lasts until May 14. The tasks and duties of the Move Out Assistant may include but are not limited to:
- Smith Hall Desk Management: Assist in answering student phone calls, updating our move-out tracker spreadsheet, and dispatching Resident Assistants (RAs) to rooms ready for check out. This will be the main task of the move out worker.
- Room Checks: Make sure that a room is completely emptied of any and all personal belongings before a resident returns their key.
- Key Management: Collect and sort returned keys to the correctly labeled bins at the check out station.
- Remain on campus until move out procedures have been completed (May 14, 2023).
