The residential communities are closed for Winter Break beginning on Friday, Dec. 14, at noon and ending on Sunday, Jan. 13 at noon. Additionally, the University is closed for business beginning at 5 p.m. Dec. 21 through Jan. 1. There is a $25 per day charge for students who stay over the break period. Since there is little activity on campus and no dining service over winter break, we encourage all students to make arrangements to spend their winter break away from campus.
If you have no option other than to stay on campus over the winter break period, or you have a need to leave late or come back early for any reason, you are required to register for break housing. Again, there is a $25/day charge for any day you live on campus over the break. The deadline to register for winter break housing is Dec. 7.
