Register Before Aug. 6 for Aug. 12 CliftonStrengths Workshop

High-performing teams don’t just happen; they are built intentionally when individuals know how to bring their best to the table. OWU Human Resources and Career Connection would like to invite you to the Team Impact Through Talent: Leading from Within Using CliftonStrengths workshop on Tuesday, Aug. 12, from noon-1:30 p.m. in HWCC 304.

Registration Form Here. Please register by Aug. 6; a light lunch will be provided for registered participants.

This 90-minute interactive learning session is facilitated by a Gallup Trainer and will help you lead from within by using your individual CliftonStrengths to foster collaboration, communication, and collective success. It is the second session in our three-part series; each session is a standalone. Through this session, you will:

  • Explore the concept of “leading within” by leveraging personal strengths to influence and contribute.
  • Understand how strengths contribute to team dynamics and reveal opportunities for collaboration and growth.
  • Learn to identify and appreciate others’ diverse talents to foster trust, reduce friction, and build team synergy.
  • Apply a strengths-based approach to real team challenges through guided activities, and discussions.

Please see the presentation slides from the first workshop “Leveraging Your Strengths for Peak Performance” back in March 2025 attached. The final workshop “Optimizing Your Strengths as a Team Leader for Team Performance” will occur on Jan. 12, 2026. Supervisors, Managers and above are encouraged to attend the Aug. 12 and Jan. 12 sessions.

Reminder – OWU provides the Strengths Assessment tool to all employees at no cost. To maximize this learning, please complete your assessment before attending. Attendees are encouraged to bring their Strengths reports to each training session.

Questions? Please let us know, and we’re happy to share further details. Due to room capacity, only 30 participants can attend. Please register early to secure your spot. We look forward to seeing you there!

Sincerely,
