Late last month, Google rolled out changes to Shared Drives in Google Workspace for Education, what we’ve branded BishopApps. The changes implemented new shared drive storage limits and affected shared drive creation. Shared Drives now have a storage limit of 100 GB. If your shared drive is approaching this limit, please review and remove files that you no longer need. Also, you will now have to request new shared drives, and Information Services can create them, adding initial manager(s) at your request. All other Shared Drives settings, including sharing, remain as they have been. These changes impacted all of Google’s clients in the education sector. Let us know if you have any questions.
