Queer Seniors & Seniors of Color, Please Fill Out

April 24 – Lavender Graduation & Multicultural Graduation! PLEASE FILL OUT EVEN IF YOU CANNOT BE IN ATTENDANCE!

OMSA wants to recognize our queer students and students of color, so please fill out the form even if you won’t be able to attend; we’ll make sure you get your appropriate stole for your commencement ceremony and honor you at your respective ceremony!

Both events will be held on Sunday, April 24, in the Benes Rooms!

Lavender Graduation will be from 1 pm-2:15 pm.

Lavender Graduation is an annual ceremony conducted to celebrate and honor lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and ally students and to acknowledge their achievements and contributions at OWU!

Graduation will include:
-Light hors-d’oeuvres
-Stoles and honor cords
-Guest speaker
-Community Picture

Multicultural Graduation will be from 3 pm-4:30 pm.

At our Multicultural Graduation, we will be celebrating our graduates from the Global Majority! We also have a special dedication to graduates from our 1st Bridge Program. This event will celebrate our community members who are API; African-American, Black, Latinx, Hispanic, multiracial, biracial, international, global nomads, and all other folks from the global majority! *We will be giving out stoles and other tokens of celebration.
The program will include:

-Student Speaker- Junior send-off
-Message from Senior Class
-Community Picture
-Alumni Keynote
-Music
-Tributes

Please note that all friends, family, and community members are all welcome at the event(s)!
