David joined Ohio Wesleyan in 1970 and retired in 2000 as the Henry E. Parrott Professor of Mathematics and Statistics. His family shares that he wanted to be remembered as “a loving husband, father, grandfather, friend, and competent professional.”
They also share that, in addition to his work at OWU, he served as a consultant to The National Science Foundation and The Center for Naval Analyses and was a member of The American Statistical Association and The Mathematical Association of America.
