There are some spaces left on a camping trip the Environment & Wildlife Club has planned on Oct. 6-7. This is funded by E&W; you only pay a $10 fee for food!
Volunteer for the day on Oct. 6 and camp at Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge that night! We plan on working with the US Fish and Wildlife Service to improve habitat for wildlife by cleaning beaches on the refuge, collecting wildflower seeds for pollinator initiatives and other tasks to help the Refuge with operations!
This is Ohio’s only National Wildlife Refuge and a great opportunity to ask questions for those interested in either government work or the nonprofit side of things! We plan on leaving at 7 a.m. on Oct. 6 and return by 3 p.m. on Oct 7.
Sign up ASAP as spots are limited! Camping gear can be provided if necessary and as supplies last. Please contact Dustin Braden for more information or questions!
