Oct. 5 @ 5:15 p.m. – Latino/e/a Heritage Month Speaker: Dr. Delia Fernández-Jones

Historian and author Dr. Delia Fernández-Jones will be on campus Thursday, Oct. 5, to discuss her book Making the MexiRican City: Migration, Placemaking, and Activism in Grand Rapids, Michigan (University of Illinois Press, 2023). Dr. Fernández-Jones’ talk will begin at 5:15 p.m. in Corns 312.  The event will be followed by food and a book signing with copies of her book available for free at the book-signing.
