BIRDBOY, (PSICONAUTAS, LOS NIÑOS OLVIDADOS), Dir. Alberto Váquez and Pedro Rivero / Spain / 80 min / 2015. Based on the comic Psiconautas by Alberto Vazquez, this animated coming-of-age film follows the main character, a shy outcast in a post-apocalyptic society, and Dinky, a teenage mouse runaway fleeing her desolate island home. Hosted by the Modern Foreign Languages Department, Spanish Program. In collaboration with Film Studies Program, Latin American Studies Program, Global Studies, and Ohio Wesleyan’s VIVA LATINX student organization.
