Join the Women in Science Club this Friday, Oct. 28, from 12 – 1 p.m. to hear Dr. Lewin talk about otherworldly bacteria! From plague doctors to bacteria species producing methane gas in reeds and creating bursts of light in marshes (fairy lights or ghosts), she will be discussing supernatural and spooky aspects of microbiology. We hope to bring some more interest to microbiology with this ghastly theme! The room is TBA but it will most likely be in the Science Center and will be updated as soon as we know! Everyone is welcome 🙂
