As the CDC states: Getting a flu vaccine is more important than ever today to protect everyone from the flu and help reduce the strain on healthcare systems responding to the COVID-19 pandemic.
To support everyone’s safety and well-being, Ohio Wesleyan is partnering with OhioHealth to offer employees two opportunities to receive the flu vaccine on campus.
The dates are Friday, October 2, and Friday, October 23, from 8 a.m. to noon on both days. The location will be Hamilton-Williams Campus Center, and faculty and staff who are interested will need to schedule a time here. Be sure you are logged into your OWU account when accessing the calendar, and you may need to navigate to these two days using the arrows on the top left of your screen.
Employees getting vaccinations need to bring a photocopy of the front and back of your insurance card to leave with healthcare staff. Employees also should bring a photo ID such as your driver’s license or OWU ID.
