Just a quick reminder that the next Teaching Circle meetings will be at noon today and tomorrow, Oct. 1 and 2 in Merrick 203. We will be discussing chapters 2-3 in Paul Hanstedt’s book, Creating Wicked Students: Designing Courses for a Complex World. I have attached them to this message (and included Chapter 4 for good measure). Even if you don not have time to read, please join us for a lively conversation about how we can create courses that encourage student independence, convey important disciplinary content, and build critical skills for navigating a complex world.
