Nov. 26 @ 7 p.m. – Jewish Klezmer Concert and OWU Memorial Benefit

On Nov. 26, join us in the Ham-Wil Benes Rooms at 7 p.m. for the annual Jewish Klezmer Concert and an OWU Memorial Benefit for the Tree of Life Synagogue, family of OWU alumna Becca Sufrin ‘14 and Tikkun Olam Pittsburgh. The Klezmer Concert will feature NBC TV 4 meteorologist Ben Gelber and the Friday Night Live Music Band.

Klezmer is a musical tradition of the Ashkenazi Jews of Eastern Europe, played by professional musicians called klezmorim in ensembles known as kapelye.

Tikkun Olam Pittsburgh is a long-standing partner with OWU Chaplaincy, and we recently had a Spring Break Interfaith Mission Team there with Becca Sufrin ’14 as co-host.
