Are you a declared major in the Economics & Business Department? Do you have an internship planned for the break or spring semester? If so, you may qualify for funding through the Blaine E. Grimes Grant. This grant is available to Ohio Wesleyan students to encourage and support internships and activities that will have an impact on the life of the student participants.
Grants are available for up to $2,000 for spring or summer semester internships. Interested students who have identified an appropriate internship or similar experience are encouraged to apply.
Grant Requirements and Qualifications
1. Students must be currently enrolled at OWU during the time of their internship. Graduating seniors cannot apply for funding for summer internships after graduation.
2. Students must show financial need to receive funding.
3. To qualify for funding, the total length of the internship must be 150 hours or more.
4. The Blaine E. Grimes Grant does not cover school tuition or student loans.
The application deadline is November 29, 2021.
